- Pipes must have no direct restrictions on upstream or downstream meters
- All flow setting devices must be installed downstream of the meter
- When choosing an installation site, consider the orientation of the meter (horizontal/vertical)
-Flange gaskets should not protrude into the pipe or be incorrectly aligned.
- The pipe should be thoroughly flushed before installing the meter to prevent damage from debris.
-The flow direction of the meter must match the direction of flow in the pipe
-After installation of the meter, the pipe must be filled with water very slowly to prevent the meter from being damaged by the surge. Filling the pipe too fast can cause an air/water surge that can destroy the meter inserts.
